“The TriCaster XD300 has allowed us to do things that would have otherwise been impossible! Teaching multi camera live production in the field is something we do often, but have always been handcuffed by the huge dollar figure that comes with building a mobile studio to full spec. The XD300 gives us DDR playback, high def inputs for live sources, as well as high end CG and audio mixer. A full complement at a very attractive price point.
Recently we covered a varsity basketball game, and were able to put our play by play announcers and game analysts in one of the virtual environments that come standard with the XD300. The space we had available was minimal, but with a green screen, a few lights and the Tricaster, the result was a beautiful, broadcast quality production. The quick setup and small, easy to travel components make this tool a real favorite among student productions. We have just upgraded to the TCXD850, and are excited to see it in action.

“The Extreme is outstanding! Fantastic what you can do with the unit, and we are learning new things on a day-to-day basis. Great stuff!

We’ve had the Tricaster Broadcast system for nearly a month now and the reviews are all positive. Our clients love it and so do we.
As you are aware, ColossoVision Canada provides LED Screen support and Live Video Production services for events. What is seen on the screens reflects on our client and that of our company too.
Quality is one of the considerations when purchasing any video product. Another is minimizing the amount of equipment needed for travel as we trek across Canada and the U.S. to events and shows.
Up until we spoke with you , we were seriously considering a competitors product at twice the price.
But you spent the time and showed us what the Tricaster Broadcast system had to offer. Now, after a months use of the system, I plan on acquiring further units to install into all of our mobile LED screens.
With the acquisition of the Tricaster Broadcast we literally eliminated several pieces of equipment without sacrificing quality. One of which was a video server for playing back looped ads. We usually run sponsor ads before and after an event. With the Tricaster, we simply loaded all of the spots videos and stills ), and played them back using the DDR facility.
Lower thirds are becoming commonplace for lots of our shows. Especially where sponsors want to promote their product. I’ll send you a link later next week which shows some of the things we’ve done with the lover thirds. Some as stills and some animated.
Before I go write a book, one last thing I want to say is the IVGA facility is a wonderful tool. Having the ability to access up to three computers and their content over an IP based system, further saved us money and equipment space. During a sports event we did in early July , our graphics team took the SMS results, scoring, and then provided the finished still via the IVGA link. What was impressive is how simple it was! Three computers literally became an extension of the Tricaster.
Lastly , as a client of yours, I appreciate the tremendous support you’ve given ColossoVision. Our highest criteria when selecting a product is what the supplier has for post sales support. You have gone out of your way many times to help us. Be it business hours, nights, or weekends, we can always rely on you.
I highly recommend Video Link and the Tricaster Broadcast system. As well, In my dealings with Newtek, they have also been easy to contact and very professional when dealing with them.
Thank you

Absolutely incredible!
The buzz in my classroom this afternoon has been something to experience. Present and former students are dropping by to try out the new Tricaster PRO. They love it, and I definitely love it.
It has replaced 4 monitors, 2 switchers, and a mess of wiring that was the core of our broadcast. We hooked it to a 32" monitor and it launched flawlessly. We had the ivga hooked up and running within minutes.
In fact, our broadcast to the school was only 'down' for 60 minutes while we dismantled the old system and set up the Tricaster PRO.
What they have been able to accomplish in the past two hours is worth every penny we paid.
We can't wait to debut the new device on tomorrow morning's announcements.
Thank you so much.
